Binh Hung Hoa Credit and Savings Cooperative - HoChiMinh (Saigon) Vietnam

This is a start up credit and savings cooperative established in April 2004 in the low income Binh Chanh district of HoChiMinh City. The first 26 members have received their initial loan of $32 to develop their small businesses. Repayment is done daily and the loan repayment cycle is 2 months. Presently repayment is at 100%.

The technical advisor for this project is Ms Tran Thi Nen who works for a church-based social development center in HoChiMinh City.
